Whatsapp, which has the most active members after Facebook and Youtube and is the most crowded messaging application, continues to offer innovations for its users. Whatsapp, which is in constant competition with other messaging applications such as Telegram or Viber and has started to lose users, is trying to make its users happy and keep itself updated with the new features it has put forward.

Mark Zuckerberg, the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Meta, which bought Whatsapp in 2014, states that these new features will make it "as private and secure as a face-to-face conversation".

Screenshots Will Not Be Allowed

The view once photo feature, which has been on Whatsapp for a while, could become a permanent image by taking a screenshot, even though it can only be viewed once. Emphasizing privacy, Whatsapp will prevent screenshots of view once photos with this upcoming new feature. When users want to take a screenshot of a view once photo, they will encounter the warning; "You cannot take a screenshot due to the security policy".

Online Information Can Be Hidden

The feature to turn off last seen has been on Whatsapp for a long time. With the new feature, users can also choose to hide their online information. As with the last seen feature, when the online information feature is turned off, the online information of other users cannot be seen either.

It Will Be Possible to Leave Groups Without Notification

When Whatsapp users leave the groups they are in, a notification will no longer be sent to that group. The notification that is automatically sent to the group by the system when a user leaves the group will now be a thing of the past. It will now be possible to leave Whatsapp groups silently.
